Covid-19
What to expect when visiting us during the pandemic

We hope you and your family were able to stay safe and healthy. While many things have changed, one thing that remained the same has been our commitment to your safety and health.

In compliance with the State of Florida ordinance, we will be reopening on Tuesday June 9th, 2020. We would like to remind our members that, as long as their membership is active, their benefits have continued to roll over from month to month . Also, our clients who hold any type of voucher or gift certificate, the expiration date has been extended by 3 months which is the length of time we were closed for Covid-19.

By its very nature, most services we offer require skin-to-skin contact and you should be familiar with the fact that infection control has always been a top priority for our practice. As we navigate life with additional requirements and modify existing measures due to the coronavirus, please help us to support all our clients by cooperating with some new requirements.

Our spa follows Practice Guidelines recommended by the Florida Department of Health, the Federation of State Massage Therapy Boards (FSMTB) , the Council of Colleges of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (CCAOM) along with with infection control recommendations made by the U.S. Centers of Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA).

You may see some changes when it is time for your next appointment. We made these changes to help protect our clients as well as our staff. For example:

-
We will communicate with you beforehand to obtain updates to your health information and ask you specifically about your potential exposure to COVID-19.
-
When you arrive at our spa, we will ask that you wait in your vehicle until we text you or call you to come in. This ensures that we won't have too many people in the reception area at one time.
-
We will greet you at the door and use a no touch thermal temperature screening to confirm you do not have fever.
-
We will ask you if you have developed any symptoms of illness since we spoke on the phone. If you fell ill on the day of your session, there is no penalty for canceling your appointment. Our services are not advised if you have any symptoms of illness.
-
Please bring a face mask to use in our building and during your treatment. If you forget your mask, we have masks for sale at the reception area.
-
We will ask you to sign an informed consent form that states, "I understand that close contact with people increases the risk of infection from COVID-19. By signing this form, I acknowledge I am aware of the risks involved and give consent to receive a treatment from a licensed practitioner at our location"
-
There is a shoe and a hand hygiene station that we will ask you to use when you enter our spa. You will also find hand sanitizer in the reception area and all treatment rooms for you to use as needed.

We look forward to seeing you again and we are happy to answer any questions you may have about the steps we take to keep you, and every client, safe in our practice. To make an appointment, please call our office at 305-854-3100 or click here to book online. We will be reopening on Tuesday June 9th, 2020.
Thank you for being our client. Special thanks to all our members who continue to pay their membership dues during this difficult time. Thanks to your patronage, we were able to meet our financial responsibilities and that allows us to reopen after 3 months of inactivity. We value your trust and loyalty and look forward to welcoming you back to a safe, therapeutic touch environment.
